    • seems to me both Cheney and McCain are only artificially alive anyway...both of them are still here largely because of the hijinks of modern medicine....which could explain a lot...

      lack of compassion,
      empathy,
      humanity

    • Its funny how the democrats hold the house and senate yet you are all blaming Bush when NOTHING can be passed without the house and senates approval. Think over that!

    • That does make me SCARED! I'm scared I might flip out and punch the next stupid republican who calls me pseudo-anything and cliche...

Dick Cheney is evil and only cares about what can make him money. IF McCain wins this election it will be by a very small margin and I will know it was rigged simply because of Cheney's existence...

    • Some folks are going to have to be accountable for the crimes this administration has perpetrated. Cheney and Rove may be the most responsible ones of all for those crimes.

If McCain "wins", we will have to respond.

to bad it is congress that passes the laws. they should be the ones held accountable. since after all when the day is done the president is just kind of there, his job is more to interact with other nations. yes he pushes laws but he does not have the power to put them into act without the congress who by the way is lead by the democrats during Bush's Presidency. :) Have a great day!

Rooster Hawkings McCain! Great I feel safer already.

Theres change we can believe in!
I knew these guys were losers 8 years ago...
I worked in D.C. It was obvious with their political history and their skewed policies where the country was headed!
I guess Americans have to pound their heads into the pavement a few times before they come to their senses!

    • McCain maintains that he is not a part of the Bush/Republican regieme, but anyone, ANYONE who would court a known but (as of yet) unconvicted criminal like Cheney should be kept very, very far away from a postion of power. As he is constantly reminding us ad nauseum with his political ads, you are defined by the company you keep. If McCain wants to crawl in bed with Cheney, that should be all the evidence needed to vote against him.

    • While Jeremiah Wright was serving six years on active duty, Vice President Dick Cheney, who was born the same year as the Marine/sailor, received five deferments, four for being an undergraduate and graduate student and one for being a prospective father.

Here's something you won't see on FOX.

In 1961, a young African-American man, after hearing President John F. Kennedy's challenge to, "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country," gave up his student deferment, left college in Virginia and voluntarily joined the Marines.

In 1963, this man, having completed his two years of service in the Marines, volunteered again to become a Navy corpsman. (They provide medical assistance to the Marines as well as to Navy personnel.)

The man did so well in corpsman school that he was the valedictorian and became a cardiopulmonary technician. Not surprisingly, he was assigned to the Navy's premier medical facility, Bethesda Naval Hospital, as a member of the commander in chief's medical team, and helped care for President Lyndon B. Johnson after his 1966 surgery. For his service on the team, which he left in 1967, the White House awarded Jeremiah Wright three letters of commendation

    • jahdini: How orginal, "Now I really am scared"

Do you consider the word "scared" as being cliche on this site?

It seems that pseudo-intellectual on this site can't stop using the word "scared".

Are these pseudo-intellectuals using the word for affect, or are the truely neurotic?

I coming to believe that they are neurotic pseudo-intellectuals, that think they are using "scared" for affect.

    • Your right nvoutback:

I have a real good idea. Sarah could have press conferances while she duck hunting.

Could you see it now Perky Katie Couric asks a question. Sarah sees a duck flying behind Perky Katie. Sarah shoots.

That would raise Perky Katie's rating.

I'd love it. The camera could get a picture of the mud falling from Perky Katies skirt. Then the press could question whether Perky Katie wheres panties.

haha! damn you meanies- you got to this before me! I love the conservative people that set themselves up like that... don't even bother commenting if you have nothing real to say...

Gotta love the big differences between Dems/Libs and Reps/Cons- a Democrat will actually try to understand a Republican- and Republicans can't see past the tip of their noses... This is how it is and how it always will be.

    • If I wasn’t scared s**tless by McCain, Palin or their wing nut rallies/mobs before…

He’s definitely succeeded with this omission.

I can’t imagine anyone in this country being comfortable with Cheney or Bush within 100 feet of the new administration.
