    • i think it's ridiculous that you can't be openly homosexual, transgendered, and such in teh military. we are in a war, and we have a shortage of troops. why does a persons sexual orientation matter? it's 2008 people!

    • How sad. Let's hope that the next time money is appropriated for the US military, the repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" and the enactment of a policy of allowing gays and lesbians to openly serve their country in the armed forces will be a part of the package.

      God does discriminate against gays, Man does. If you look at the first bible, there was no discrination in the King James version. The word Homosexual was first put in the Bible in 1869- this is way before anyone who is currently living now. They discriminated against Jesus because he was GAy. His lover was Thomas, one of his disciples. The world didn't tell you why the crucified him on the cross(early discimination), because they didn't believe the son of God could be Gay. That is why they took the Gospel of Thomas out of the Bible. In the "Last Supper" the disciple laying on his bossom, was Thomas, as it says in the Bible, His Lover, the one Jesus loved. The Gospel of Thomas revealed the andrynous behavior of Jesus, and How God gave these qualities to all. Go to any bookstore, and look up the "Missing Gospel of Thomas." This was taken out of the Bible as a sort of Butterfly affect, to keep people from know what the end would look like. God says in the Bible, you know when God is coming back...when you see the rainbow. Guess what, it's not a coincidence that gays and lesbians represent the rainbow.

    • Wow, now I know how to get out of the army if I ever get drafted. Thanks for the tip!

      Edit: And yes, I completely support the gay/lesbian communities. I feel the government has no right to bias against sexual orientation.
