    • Vierotchka, always with the eye, hands and foot on the real ball. Congratulations for the timely segment. In a way I think Ralph Nader has more chances to educate people out of the poppet's house and avoiding the burden that goes with it, with all my respects to the person of Obama. The real fact is that this election just show again how corporate power are alive and doing well controlling the Media that in turn control the people.

    • Yes, Jubal they have run out of time for those. Now they must put their money where their mouths are, and more importantly, we must be the grassroots movement that moves them to do the right thing. No more capitulating. And after reading more about Ralph Nader and seeing him in settings like this as opposed to the media BS we were fed about him, I truly believe he would make a very good president and seems to truly care for the people. Shame on those who used him as a scapegoat for their own political inadequacies.

    • Thank you so much for posting this interview Vierotchka. We are not out of the woods at all, the change needs to come from the people. Nader is right when he says the Democrats no longer have any excuses to do what is right for the people and the planet, and not be corporate servants. The change comes from us as individuals, families, and communities, not to wait for a "father" figure to fix our woes for us. I feel the only way, perhaps better put as at least one way, is that all of us stand together and turn our backs on the corporations that have disrespected us and the planet. We stop buying their products, we stop working for them. Changing the war to Afghanistan, changing to "clean coal", or supporting nuclear energy is not healing for our planet and its inhabitants, but a lateral shift at this point, unless all people take thoughtful responsibility for their own lives - for most of us, this means being willing to simplify our lives, at least for a while, otherwise future generations will have nothing, nothing at all. It was indeed good to feel the lightening up of the planet's people energetically last night, but there is a long road ahead of us to stay diligent and clean up our world. It won't come from Obama (his hands are tied), it will come from us!

    • SeaJade:

Many of the same corporations that have taken jobs overseas also get at the same time tax cuts. So...we as tax payers are in essence paying them to go elsewhere. Isn't that nice? Simplistic I know, but irks me when I think about it. I agree....the less we buy from them the better. I will do it as often as I can.

    • Nader would make a great president. I wish this country would wake up to the two party sham and start looking at the green party and independent candidates.
I wish Nader would work from the bottom up getting more progressive third party people in the house of representatives and senate.
