Wow, I never thought I'd see liberal/progressive types fawning over a FAUX News model. Whatever happened to the days when FAUX had no credibility. I guess they are now just going to become Obama lapdogs just like they were with Bushfraud.
Nader said don't bully me you little "Malibu Ken" wannabe! Good for him I say.
FAUX and all the other mainstream outlets are going to try to make any opposition to Obama a race issue and avoid the real issues.
Obama needs to come out and tell the people that he supports main street and not Wall Street and tell us why voted for the wealthy banker bailout scam and why he helped twist the arms of Congress to get it passed.

I like the pause Smith gives before he says "really?" And he's kinda hot, too!

Fuck Nader. I been saying this for years. The jerkoff only appears when he wants to be president.

Nader is irrelevant. But it's ok, we won't hear from him again until 2012 when he decides to piss more money away on a failed election attempt.

Fox News... ugh.
They ignored the implications of what he said by focusing on his allusion to an archaic old book. Fair and balanced, to the advertisers that pay them at least

He also called him Uncle Sam.
But call it what it is, Obama has historically bowed down to corporate interests. If we really want what's best, we can't stop fighting now.

Unbelievable. That overpuffed egotistical blowhard needs to go do something helpful for a change. Go live what you preach, gasbag.

Something helpful? Because of Nader we have safer cars, cleaner air, and higher food standards, among other things. He has done more for this country than probably any other candidate on the ballot, especially Obama. He may not be the most PC, but get your facts straight.

That was the Nader of the past; the Nader of the present is a failure who has sacrificed the public good for his own vanity. Please recall it was Nader and his supporters who put Bush into the white house.

Nader blundered and should have apologised. Smith might have been agressive during the mid parts of the interview but summed it up nicely at the end.

this is obnoxious.... dramatic bullsh*t.
uncle tom has not always been a word meant to be derogatory, it simply refers to someone who is secretly subservient to the status quo.
while its true we should be celebrating obamas victory, we need people like nader to push him to be a true advocate for those he swore to protect.
this may have been inappropriate, buts not a huge deal....
hoooray obama!!

Nader, once a force for reform, has become a vain simpleton and tarnished a once sterling reputation.

Whatever you may think about Nader's point, he chose his words incredibly poorly. The only worse thing to say might be "Will he be house nigger to the special interests and lobbyists?"

"How dare would you utter the words Uncle Tom?...."
Sure Nader shouldn't have made his point using the racial character, but Smith is being a bit melodramatic, undoubtedly to get attention like he is here.
