535 people represent you..what are you gonna do about it?

joefac3
The election is over and we must begin turning our country around now, or the opportunity may not come again. By quickly organizing ourselves in each of the 435 congressional districts, over the next 100 days, we can make single-payer healthcare, a living wage, and a less militaristic society our long-term reality. We must do this because the founders of these United States gave us the power to do it. Please watch the video and sign up today.

    • I've done this for years, I used to call my senators, and state rep, regularly, i'd fill out and return the questionaire cards, and since email, i email them no less than once a month. And i'd get a reply or response from them.

But after what Nader said about Obama after the election, no way will i contact them.

Doing this with an organized larger voice to every Senator and Congressman has a more persuasive message with more weight than just one lone voice to one Official. Why would you let something someone said make you not want to participate in our Government? What did Ralph Nader say? I bet I said much worse about President-Elect Obama.

"I won't work to take back my country in an effective organized way-- because Nader said something mean (and probably true) about Obama that hurt my feelings."
      That's stupidity, pure and simple.

    • I'm in. I think this is the best way for the People to be heard. Without organization, we will not be heard. The only way to make our Government work for you is to participate. Together we can let the COngress know that we want our issues and side of the story to get consideration when they vote. This is a legal, American, positive, and effective way to make OUR Government work for US, their bosses.
