Obama picks team to save sinking US economy

It's not likely that Obama's cabinet selections will provide any better service to the nation than a random selection of folks in the Nashville Tennessee phone directory.

This guy has already precipitated a Depression by threatening to shut down the national electric power grid returning us all to the Dark Ages.

That was about the stupidest thing I ever saw any politician ever do, but he did it.

Oh, yeah, and he's surrounding himself with people who've either engaged in murder, fostered murder, or think political assassination is a good way to manipulate society.

Not likely that's a safe thing to do, particularly when you're the President. The Jesse James/Howard syndrome was still working last time I heard.

is the human population just gonna keep growing? does anybody think that maybe things are toppling cause theres way too many of us?? 3 people are born for every 1 that dies. So far, the only thing has kept economies alive is growth. What happens when we run out of room not only economically, but physically?

Obama has to chose the right person for saving US economy, he has to, and for us.. we can only ensure everything will go as planned...

I don't envy Obama the calamities he inherits from GWB.
All I can do is trust in his increasingly impressive administration's judgments and pray like Hell for better things to come.

Relief is emotions and everthing is going to workout in the best interest of the American people.

I just watched Obama's news conference introducing the "new" economic team. Alot of promises and alot of uncertainty will not help this crisis. Every decision being made now is being passed thru Obama, so don't throw any stones at Bush anymore. It's Obama's baby now and I pray he can handle all of the obstacles he has to face.

With an attitude he brings in combination with the situation he's administration is inheriting, I have faith there is only one way this can go. Onward and upward.

All are eying to see how Obama will tackle the global recession and sinking American economy.At this time many are affected and they have a positive hope.

Obama is a brilliant politician who can do no wrong. After running a near flawless campaign he is putting together a team the USA can take pride in. The Republicans under Bush drove this country into the ground. We should all be thankful that President Obama has arrived to deliver us from the Republican evil into the Democratic light. Who was he supposed to appoint, a college roommate or a buddy from back in the day? It is impossible and irrational to think that Obama can avoid Clinton-era people in his cabinet. We've seen what inexperience party "outsiders" can do. Not much.
