Former NFL star quarterback Michael Vick has pleaded guilty to a state dogfighting charge in Virginia in a bid to make him eligible for early release from jail.

    • American Staffordshire Bull Terriers (Pit Bulls) are wonderful, loyal, FAMILY Dogs when not ABUSED by being trained to fight...Why don't We pour a bucket of Cat Piss over Vicks head, and THEN throw Him into a cage with a dozen freshly rescued abused dogs that will probably HAVE to be destroyed through no fault of their own?!?...BETTER IDEA...Let's NOT destroy these dogs, & keep them alive for JUST THIS PURPOSE...ie:punishing those caught abusing dogs & children...OK, I admit to being a believer in "cruel & unusual punishment" for cruel & heartless crimes...

    • Sarah Palin shoots wolves from a helicopter and gets the republican vice presidential nomination while Mr. Vick offs dogs and goes to jail. Someone smells hypocrisy.

    • How about we lock him in a cage for a year and then have him fight to the death with a pit bull...an eye for an eye right?

      It's people like him who cause pit bulls to have a bad name, as a breed pit bulls are very sweet and loyal breed, my family have 2 that we have rescued...

    • I am an animal lover and I can't understand why someone would do such a horrible thing. Why not tie him down and lock him in a room with the vicious pit bulls he trained?

    • This guy is so stupid that he doesn't even fully understand what he has done. Making animals suffer for his own entertainment and financial gain was a horrible move on his part both professionally and spiritually.
