On January 16, 1920, the 18th Amendment to the United States Constitution went into effect. Put simply, it made the manufacturing and sale of acohol illegal in America.

I slightly disagree with you. Only because I like to drink and wouldn't like the idea for that to be restricted. Weed is kinda harmless... it just needs to be dealt with at home.
