Tough town to ban beer sales

A violent country town that is drowning in broken glass will have the state's most draconian liquor laws when takeaway sales of bottled beer are banned.

Tough new powers of the Liquor Act will be used to try to cut the crime rate and rid its streets and playgrounds of broken glass.

    • Look at all that pollution! Unbelievable! I don't know if banning beer will work (can ya really stop people from getting hammered?), but if anything it's almost like a punishment to the town! "No more beer until you clean your room young man!" I hope they work together as a community to get rid of that disgusting problem!

    • Don't take away the beer, kick the ass of the douche bags who broke all those bottles on a playground.

      Seriously, whoever breaks glass purposely in places like that deserves to get a good kick in the nuts... and yes I said nuts cause it's probably some stupid redneck dickhead who thinks it's cool to smash his bottles...
