This is a tough call here... Should the casino have to pay for this guy's addiction? If he was banned and they still let him in I guess they are somewhat responsible, but at what point does this guy take responsibility for his own actions & own addiction??

    • Why in the world didn't the govt throw this case out along with the idiot that brought the charges? You lured me? Following this same logic, had the guy won, the casino would have been perfectly justified in bringing suit to recover THEIR loses. Give me a break.

I don't see this as a problem with either casino's or addicted gamblers. What the problem here is, is the right to sue.

If you gamble, you may lose. Your choice & your consequences. If you go to a doctor, you're contracting with a trained professional to try & help your problem. There are no guarantees you'll get better, or the doctor won't err. That's why you look at doctors before you go.

I'm a person that can't afford health insurance. The rates are outrageous because of this. It's almost like you graduate from college, then medical school, then internship, then your own practice guarantees to the public at large you'll never make a mistake. Hello? You don't need a doctor. You need a robot. They do the same thing every time.

This guy & his case should be thrown out. With great vigor.
