A little Brute Force got him in trouble...

NEW YORK (AP) ― A New York City police officer who was caught in a YouTube video body-checking a bicyclist to the ground during a protest has been indicted by a grand jury, his lawyer said Monday.

Officer Patrick Pogan must report to the Manhattan District Attorney's office Tuesday morning, said lawyer Stuart London, who declined further comment until he can see the exact charges, which remain sealed. The district attorney's office would not comment.

The bicyclist, Christopher Long, was arrested July 25 during a Critical Mass bicycle ride through Times Square. The monthly bike rides are held around the world to draw attention to alternatives to motor vehicles.
