Wayne Madsen is a Washington, D.C.-based investigative journalist, author, and syndicated columnist. His articles have appeared in The Village Voice, Wired, and CounterPunch. Madsen was a Senior Fellow of the Electronic Privacy Information Center. He was a communications security analyst with the National Security Agency in the 1980s, and an intelligence officer in the US Navy.He has testified on numerous occasions before the US Congress. He currently hosts The Wayne Madsen Report.

    • What is that saying,? "Fool me once, shame on you,fool me twice, shame on me."
      Likely, most USA major conflicts, that I am aware of , had prior to formal, there most likely were always a contingency of low lying- secretive if you wish,group of fores, likely Special Services that went into enemy territory, and engaged in a myriad of illegal information, as well as possibly whatever might to needed to use in future engagements.
      Yet, along with advice and direction, when the USA supplies $$$ to the pre-emptive actions , like training rebels and arming them. Like starting wars they have planned all along. Now if there ever was a country in great need of support, long awaited and in most dire needs would be Africa
      I'd like to wave a magic wand, brig ALL troops hme from everywhere. And stay vigilant to protect only our home turf, period
