No jail for policewoman who stole 17 kilos of cannabis

Well it IS the Xmas season, is it not ? I guess when you have such benevolent motives like maybe stealing from the rich and giving to the poor...Especialy the poor
Dutch folks who can't afford to buy their own this time of year...Then it's realy the thought that counts. I mean the thought that any good Dutch people have to be in the doldrums this holiday season SHOULD be abhorent to those who have an abundance,no ? Well in the spirit of Chris Kringle. I guess they realized how stupid it is to send one of their own to jail for something as innocent as weed... but if had been an 18 year old kid they would have sent him away for a few years and left him with a drug charge for the rest of his life! Gotta love the system. =)

Hopefully the police in Tilburg are this sensible for all pot related charges.

man i got caught with a bong and pipe by the POlice and they made me break the stuff then throw out my green, and she gets only community service, wtf, man weed should be legal all over the world, it would make the world a better place.

They didn't find any actual evidence of the theft per se but the did notice the officer tilting back the vending machines veraciously.

Awsome! Nobody should go to jail or even get arrested for cannabis! It should be legal everywhere! If we all toked together it would be a very peaceful world!

Breda is in the Netherlands. I doubt a cop, or any one else, would get off so easy in the US with our draconian drug laws.

if anyone NOT on the police force stole ANYTHING from them it would be years in jail... let alone stealing coke... and any normal person would be in jail for life if caught with nearly 40 lbs of coke!

Tampering with police evidence should have been follwed by a stiffer penalty...unless of course she had shared a little.
