240,000 dollars awarded to man forced to cover Arab t-shirt

It's truly sad that obvious racism is everywhere and doesn't look like it's going away.

Over the holidays I had a layover in Houston, Texas.
Of course, through immigration, me and my white mother had no problem going through, as they barely checked our passports and papers.

The Mexican man with the cowboy hat, not so much. He was connecting to MEXICO (Not the US, dumbass Customs man) and got the third degree on his address in the US (as he was a US resident)

This sh*t is everywhere.
And like the above comment, this racism is a DISEASE and we need to put a stop to it.

Hell, The passengers should have just thrown him off the plane!

It's ok.....the airline will probably just increase your luggage fees to make up the difference....

The shirt stated, "We will not be silent", in Arabic. So I suppose most Americans could not read it. However, if I was and on board with my family and could read the words, I would be concerned that he was some type of radical bent on harm.

I'm sorry, why would they give him anything? After all, Arabs and Muslims have been known to Hijack Airplanes and to kill people using them. They should be held accountable, not us. It is us that spend more time in airports because of these people. It is us that fear another Extremist Muslim will take a plane and kill more people.

I am waiting for the late night informercial telling me how to get rich quick by wearing tshirts with Arabic writing. I may have to start that business myself with an ACLU phone number printed upside down in the front of the shirt so you can read it when you are handcuffed. I'll make sure to put a graphic of Osama on it. You know this wouldn't have happened if his shirt said "Deutschland Uber Alles". That speaks volumes to our tolerance of Germans. I think he should have gotten a refund and the employees responsible should have been disciplined.

Could someone tell me where I can get a t-shirt with the words Make Me Rich in Arabic? I'll start wearing it on every flight I take.

I think this is the second post where a incident related to discrimination happened on a plane and the person didn't sue.

I find it so hard to believe that this happened. It makes me sick to think that discrimination was being enforced, so glad it turned around and bit the airlines in the ass!
