    • Why are you calling it the "sex" trade when it's clearly rape? Sex is consensual. Rape is a violation of free will. It's like using "matter" and "anti-matter" interchangeably. This is the rape trade. These women are rape slaves.

      Sexualizing rape only makes it more impossible to combat (Remember, sex can sell anything--and that includes violent hate). And I don't know why people here pretend to be surprised. Get real. The commercialization of hate crimes against women and girls (Yes, misogyny is bigotry) is all over our culture, whether it's "pimp" rap celebrating the rape trade or pornography overtly inciting violent hate by documenting and glorifying rape and anti-female sadism (Hint: those women are not "acting" they're terrified out of their minds when they're being tortured; even in consensual acts, the misogyny still incites hate, just like when blacks wore blackface, it was still racist). Our culture is obsessed with equating misogynistic bigotry with sexuality (Just like we once equated Christianity with slavery). It's no wonder you have an entire slave industry to cater to these "men" who pay to rape, torture, and even kill women and girls--for being women and girls.

      This is sick shit and it won't stop until we take misogyny seriously and stop trivializing this intolerance and hate as just bad manners or, worse, rationalizing it as natural, instinctive, which of course only has one logical conclusion: the enslavement and even killing of an entire gender (When you don't even have sovereignty over your own body, you have no rights).
