I have no idea why we're vicariously involved in things that we don't know about first hand, but I can't believe how strangely people's behavior seems to naturally self-destruct, or destroy others, what the fuck God?

The Israeli government and the Palestinian government both need a good spanking. Tell them to play nice and get along.

I have reiterated over and over again only Governments make war. Only the people who ban together can desolve governments and make peace. If the Arabs peoples and the Jews want a lasting peace, desolve all political afiliations and create a peoples union of both Arabs and Israelis and then vote for peace. Arabs and Jews have the mentality and ability to ban together and organize into a land where both can work and live together. This living in fear for both can be history, if there is the intense desire for LIFE. Children can play together, go to school without fear and become a useful member of community and the world. There are powers who live on war and bloodshed and who hunger for power. These forces are in command today all over the world only the peoples joining together can defeat them. Bankrupt them by finding your own peace without politics. Global union will not bring peace but peoples of the world can unite to bring peace without killing machines.

That crazy Israel.....all about Democracy unless their military dictatorship is challenged. Let me guess, the Likud party is going to have a sweeping victory? The party who's leader has said practically everything except nuking Gaza in order to remove Hamas?

Interesting rant I just picked up in reponse to...
America's Shame By Paul Craig Roberts
Why does Israel have a right to exist, but Palestine doesn't? This is the question of our time.
http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article21712.htm...first, and it's always Israel who defends itself. This is called "retaliation".
Rule #2: The Palestinians are not allowed to kill Israelis. This is called
"terrorism".Rule #3: Israel has the right to kill Palestinian civilians; this is called "self-defense", or "collateral damage".
Rule #4: When Israel kills too many Palestinian civilians, the Western world calls for restraint. This is called the "reaction of the international community".
Rule #5: Palestinians do not have the right to capture Israeli military, not even
1 or 2.Rule #6 : Israel has the right to capture as many Palestinians as they want (around 10,000 to date being held without trial). There is no limit; there is no need for proof of guilt or trial. All that is needed is the magic word: "terrorism".
Rule #7: When you say "Hamas", always be sure to add "supported by Hezbo-Allah, Syria and Iran".
Rule #8: When you say " Israel", never say "supported by the USA, the UK, European countries and even some Arab regimes", for people (God forbid) might believe this is not an equal conflict.
Rule #9: When it comes to Israel, don't mention the words "occupied
territories", "UN resolutions", "Geneva conventions". This could distress the audience of Fox, CNN, etc.Rule #10: Israelis speak better English than Arabs. This is why we let them speak out as much as possible, so that they can explain rules 1 through 9.
This is called "neutral journalism".Rule #11: If you don't agree with these rules or if you favor the Palestinian
side over the Israeli side, you must be a very dangerous anti-Semite. You may even have to make a public apology if you express your honest opinion.THIS IS CALLED: DEMOCRACY!! (Isn't democracy wonderful?)

This is a failure of humanity. It has nothing to do with arab and jew. It is sad and ominous and tragic. All the insanity here on current is only further indication of this failure.

CONSIDER THIS:
The population growth in the Palestinian teritiories is a much higher rate than that of Israel.
It's been said that at this rate, within 20 years Palestinians will outnumber their Israeli neighbors.
Look it up. And then imagine Palestinians given the vote ...in your dreams...
Unfortunately, we live in a segregated world where it seems to matter where you're from, how much money you have...and boy does it suck to lack money in it.

How Israel's Propaganda Machine Works:
Because it recognizes the importance of the propaganda war, Israel fights on this front as vigorously and disproportionately as it engages on the battlefield. Here's how they have done it:

The United States Promotes Israeli Genocide Against the Palestinians
By Professor Francis A. Boyle
The paradigmatic example of "crimes against humanity" is what Hitler and the Nazis did to the Jewish people. This is where the concept of "crimes against humanity" came from. And this is what the U.N. Human Rights Commission determined that Israel is currently doing to the Palestinian people: crimes against humanity.

Ciao Ciao Arabs, you have enough countries to handle and to fix like to get involved into a Country that is looking for peace and love. You want Arab Politics? Sure, go Fix Pakistan, Iraq, Afghanistan, IRAN and Syria. Go do your politics in your own place and then once you are better than the rest, please visit not only Israel, but as many countries as you can and propagate the good work and knowledge. Right now, you have to start by controlling your children and your farmers that hold an RPG and an AK47

funny, people lack of reality and thing everything is made of cheese. An Arab party in Israel would be so biased that Jewish people would have no chance against terrorism. What would they do? Finish the blockade, wait a couple of months or a term and then let Hezbollah and Hamas take over Israel? Seriously, there is a lot of need for politicians and education in hundreds of places like to actually try to take on the Politics of Israel.

Bad move by Israel, it just further reinforces the idea that this is a conflict not just between Israel and Hamas but a conflict between Jews and Arabs...
This type of marginalization of Arab Palestinians will work against Israel. What is Israel here for? Is it a country made solely for the Jews? Or does it have the responsibility to provide rights for ALL its citizens, Jewish or Arab?
I feel sorry for these Arab parties because they are Israelis themselves, but are marginalized for being Arab...

i can see isreal beginning to segregate soon, tensions must be high between the two groups, and to above post, you can not blame a whole nationality for the actions of hamas or any other terrorist group

To add to 'cheezynuts', just because certain people belong to a certain category of people, it doesn't license you to generalize what kind of people they are. Being a person belonging to a certain group doesn't change that a person is different even from people within that group.
