Ted Nugent wants to be Drug Czar

This man shouldn't be around sharps.

He would get his bow and arrow or his machine gun and start shooting everyone. The idiot has no respect for human life or any other life for that matter. A cave man living in the 21st century for sure.

Not everyone likes Barry Maniloe mute. I saw Ted with some group and he kicked ass.

I don't know him But I talked to him on the radio two days before the election. I asked him" which was more fun hunting deer or the indigenous liberal" He said when he shoots the deer he gets the Liberal also. I have loved his his music and career, he has always made a point of saying NO drugs. He's The Man.

I have personally known Ted for over 30 years. He doesn't sit on his ass and let bad things or people go without his attempt to bring them into the light and take action to prevent. His work with kids, DARE, vets, police, NRA etc. shows he is one man who puts his heart, time and money into trying to provide truth and example to this crumbling nation. I ask doubt those that criticize him have one tenth a record of service to his fellow man.

When Ted first appeared in gun magazines 30 years ago, many of what many would term old red necks, were clear and quick to say this, without knowing him. "It appears that Nugent can be a SOB but at least he's our SOB and telling it like it is"

why not! It's not like the War on Drugs has ever been anything but a farce anyway. At least with Ted at the helm, there's bound to be some laughs, intentional or otherwise.

Ted is at least consistent. I remember going to a concert at least 25 years ago in Corpus and he was telling people to not smoke so much pot close to the stage.

He would make a huge impact in the drug war but it would be short lived, maybe a year at the most before his mouth got him in trouble. Trust me the druglords would be glad he was gone but the job would never be looked at as a cush do nothing job again...

If this were to be a post requiring Senate approval, the hearings on his confirmation would be a blast. Furthermore, I am sure that President-Elect Barack Obama will give Ted Nugent's request and resume all the attention that they truly merit and deserve.

Everyone is a Racist in the little minds of some. But Ted was always known for his stance against drugs. Even when it hurt his career to say that. He has never even EVER drank alcohol or done drugs. His moto is clean and sober for 58 years.

A fatty would loosen him up but he is to much of a control freak to try it. A washed up pop star with too many complexes to count couldn't be much worse than what we have had so far. Most morals police have the same problem, a total lack of morals.

He doesn't do drugs.........he only does teenage girls. I'd say the vetting process will be a little difficult for him.

I'd actually prefer him to some conservative stuffed shirt.
