3-Week-Old Baby Mauled To Death By Family Pet

This dog also looks like a puppy.

I own a husky and I know that they are known to kill cats.
I have a cat and when I am not home I have a gate that the dog cant get through to protect my cat. my husky will get her toy and throw it up in the air and squeak it.for hours. This could have been what happened. I dont know
What happened with this baby was tragic. It is not the parents fault. The parents did not watch this and do nothing. Have some compasion.

WOW! I wouldn't be surprised if the municipality doesn't push anti-Husky legislation. No dog breed is safe, since it just takes one idiot family to ruin it for responsible dog parents.

Shitty parents and shitty pet owners. Dogs can be socialized to be loving guardians who are able to love and watch over families. Where were the parents anyways? Why was a baby left alone with a dog?

wow what a horrific story...I bet the baby sister is going to be traumatized from dogs for life knowing her sister was killed by one when she was a baby

maybe this seems hypersensitive, but i don't think it's fair to post some random unrelated photo of an innocent-looking dog to this story. it gives the false impression that even friendly dogs are ready to snap and gobble up your infant at any provocation.

i mean, if there was a murder story, you wouldn't post some random image of any old human, especially one that just happens to correspond to the race of the accused...

These shiity parents are probably shitty dog owners, too. A pourly socialized husky is infinately closer to a wolf in it's behavior than a dog. Thaqt baby never stood a chance.

Sounds to me like they are horribly irresponsible people. Dogs don't do things like this unless they are poorly socialized. They probably shouldn't own any pets or have children. It's really too bad that poor baby and dog had to be the consequence.

I do not think it was a wise idea for a think three week old child to be left unattended with any dog. Lassie being the only exception.

Squealing little thing probably sounded like a squeaky chew toy. Keep babies out of the reach of pets, for goodness' sake.

This is horrible, but sadly if it was a pit bull this would be front page headlines in most places. Goes to show you that real news doesn't sell, only what entertains gets notice.
