Man uses knife to take ex-girlfriend’s breast implants that he paid for

Armed with a knife and lurking in the dark, Thomas Lee Rowley waited in ambush to reclaim what he thought was rightfully his: his former girlfriend’s breast implants that Rowley paid for.

As his former girlfriend stepped outside the back door of her mother’s house in Hesperia, Rowley, 28, stabbed her six times in the head and torso. That’s the picture painted by Deputy District Attorney David Foy on the first day of testimony in Rowley’s trial for attempted murder of ex-girl friend, Shanon Perry, 26, on July 25, 2006.

Rowley’s former roommate Dennis McGill testified to a more sinister plot for the stabbing. McGill testified that Rowley wanted to take back Perry’s breast implants that he paid for.

“I’m gonna cut ’em out and get em back”, McGill testified that Rowley told him.

The breast implants were punctured during the attack and were eventually repaired.

Rowley was arrested the day after the attack and faces several charges that include the attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, stalking, burglary, and false imprisonment.

The victim will testify later in the day...

    • Think about it in reverse, soon we might see
women pay men for some surgery on whichever part of the body.

And they want to get their payment back ...

      Psycho...
      This is too strange,
this world is getting worse and weird.

    • Surely, there will be a insanity plea.... this is quite disturbing.

I agree with paying for your own surgery, this woman could have drove the man to it we are only hearing one side of the story.

    • I agree with those saying that people are getting crazier and more antisocial everyday. But also I believe doing away with the age-old notion of 'owning' someone, or someone 'belonging' to you. In the West, it has grown less official/pronounced than in other areas of the world where it is still an integrated, institutional part of society (India, mid-east, yes I'm being very un-PC but screw you I'm making a point here).

For instance I see no point in marriage, although some official recognition of couple-hood should exist, not for the legal rights of the state or government, but for the legal rights of said couple.

I am married, but I did so as I'm American -although my wife is not- and you do not get recognition in the states unless you are wed; and in many western countries you don't get the same treatment, recognition, and legal rights, such as residency, for either of us, et al. Hell, in the states you need to be married to see your partner in the hospital.

We didn't leave behind our individuality and become 'one' as a Christian ceremony would tell you. We didn't 'cleave together', we are two separate individuals sharing a life and belong to no one, including each other. We both have enough integrity, maturity, discipline and commitment to be monogamous and tell our respective opposite genders 'hands off' without some institution doing it for us. We have that much. I am not saying I am perfect myself, by any means. I just don't need to own or be owned to feel some faux sense of security that ultimately ends up owning me more than I supposedly own it.

Maybe that's the issue? Maybe mankind is a week, violent, cheating, irresponsible, possessive, dominating, impulsive, reckless, destructive race of children that needs to grow up?

Anyway, that's my 2c of tangent.

Edit: Isn't it more than a little ironic -and idiotic, nonsensical- that even if you're like me and are irreligious, people still get wed as if they are Christian? That we have to engage ourselves in a Christian ceremony even if we aren't religious? Sure one could say people can get married in a secular manner by a judge or otherwise justice of the peace, but it is still a religious ceremony no matter how you dress -or undress- it. My wife and I got married by a judge in San Francisco, but it is still a mimic of a Christian/Islamic/Judaic ceremony.

    • Of course it was in Hesperia. Statistics for Hesperia indicate he probably manufactured / consumed large quantities of methamphetamine... Just kidding, but most likely not far from the truth.

    • Ask your partner sign an agreement before taking his money for your implant. That's kind of a funny story. :)

    • Violent crime rates rise and fall every so often.
It's important not to depend on the frequency of violent news stories to determine the crime rate though. You know how the media likes to blow things up.

There was a study in Japan recently that showed even though violent crime was declining, violent crime news coverage was increasing, ultimately misleading people on the crime rate.

    • it may seem to be a more common trend but if you consider the population boom it is easy to see the instances of violence are well in line per capita. be cautious when it is next to you.

    • Good lord.

There is an epidemic of insanity rippling through the world. It's almost like the plot to a bad made-for-tv movie on the SciFi channel.

Stories like this seem to be getting more and more common. It's like that M. Nigh Shamalamadingdong movie "The Happening."

People are just getting seized with violent impulses and going crazy.

If he wants'em so bad may HE should be forced to get Double D implants.....right before he gets to jail.

I'm sure that would make him very popular with the boys.
