"You can either be doers or continue to be a doormat. I think you should be doers," he told the audience sternly as he lectured them over a buffet lunch.
It seems the crowd listened. When the Republican National Committee members then voted for a new leader on Friday evening they unexpectedly picked African-American Michael Steele, the first black person ever to hold the post. Steele, a former deputy governor from Maryland known for criticising George W Bush, will now give Republicans a high-profile black public face. At a stroke the Republican party seems to have joined the new America of President Barack Obama. "It's time for something completely different," Steele declared after he won.
"You will get another opportunity to present your case to the vote," Fund told his audience. "Memories will fade. Your name brand can be restored." The question is whether that brand will be best represented by men like Limbaugh or by those like Steele.

there is 2 possibility , one is you are a very rich man , so it is very normal for rich people to defend republican beacuse they look after rich. second is there is really something wrong with the way you think , the time for rich is over , even if it doesn't happen in obama time it will happen in a near future , time for some equatily , and humanity in america , enough is enough.

My god... they must think we're all a bunch of idiots. The Republican Party goes through the motions required to control our minds and garner their power.... so far the Democrats (thanks to Obama) actually LIVE and believe in what they're doing.
Can any of you see that?

Wow - the Republicans may be blamed for the crisis our country is in, but the Democrats are going to do much worse. Obama won because he is HALF black. Now we are subscribing to the same policy? Shame on the Republicans. Limbaugh would be a much better person in that position!

After seeing all the IRS theives, Geither, Dashel and Hillary with the stealing of valuable art and other items from the Whitehouse, and Bill filling his pockets all over the world for his "Foundation", Holding pardoning Rich (a notorious criminal, spending one trillion dollars which if you read, has nothing to do with JOBS. I went in this election hopeful and already feel we are 'lost at sea'.
So in 4 years, we will see how much re-branding the Democrats have to do.
Yes, I know most of our mess was caused by Bush, but I am sick and tired of ANY politician being above the laws that the rest of us have to follow!

The divisive politics of the Bush-error are hopefully a thing of the past, which would mean that the Republicans have a lot of re-branding to do.
