    • I'm grateful that the jurors were decent, bona fide
citizens, and not the hate mongering redneck types. That any State makes it illegal, and a criminal offense is the fault of the FBI/DEA sponsored Federal Prohibition of 1937, which itself was based on malicious lies built into propaganda movies like "Reefer Madness" and "Devil's Weed" Had the U.S. the foresight of enacting Statutes prohibiting agancies of the DOJ or any other Dept. from having political agendas like PACS,then the USA would have never have seen the rise of Organized Crime in America and Mexico and Columbia and Peru. When you realize they substituted one form of Prohibition for another knowing what horrid attrocities would result from instituting more rise in Organized Crime...,And that the FBI & W.R.Hearst subverted the Free Press to carry out their public propaganda campaign to mind controll ignorant, inexperienced people & Congresspeople alike to enact Prohibition yet again..,Then you can't help but see how sinister and un American an organiization the Flunkie Bureau realy is. The history of the USA is loaded with Cannabis as an essential part of its culture. There was never a problem with it until the nazi turds of the
FBI came along during the Great Depression. I have their beginnings recorded on a History channel documentary. And the FBI is still involved with Organized Crime. I'm readying a Racketeering complaint against them to the DOJ's Inspector General's Office for the Official Hate Crimes they're still involved with by means of Enterprise
Corruption here in New York. That's an A and B Felony violation of our Organized Crime Control Act.
When the Flunkie Bureau get too big for their pants
and think they can subvert State Criminal Statures
and escape Justice they are a menace to society.
No FBI agent has any lawful authority to commit Organized Crimes. And they are anything but above the law despite their delusions of grandeur/obsession.

    • Congratulations, Mr. Swift. Having that cannabis may have been illegal, but you didn't do anything wrong. And kudos to the jury.

I think there may very well be a lesson here. The court system is already flooded with cannabis cases. Wonder what would happen if everyone demanded trial by jury?

It takes an amount of time and a goodly amount of money to arrange a jury trial. That you'd have a bunch of pissed off judges goes without saying. But a trial by your peers IS a constitutional right and they'd just have to get over it.

Maybe this is something we should spread around?

      Great post, Jersey !!

    • Excellent point unphiltered!!

Just make sure you trust your peers cause here in Utah I don't know if I would feel that confident leaving it up to the local public.

    • I dont think people realize how huge this is. This needs to happen anytime anyone is arrested for marijuana. They NEED to DEMAND A TRIAL BY JURY AS ALLOWED BY THE CONSTITUTION. This will happen more often if Americans will not simply PLEA out. If you go to trial the statistics are there that most Americans do not see it as a crime. Fight for jury nullification! In many instances thus far by those attempting to recieve trial by jury for nullification they have been released with time served by the judge who does not want to see it go to trial and get nullified-i.e. SET PRECEDENT. Know how your community feels and fight back- you can win and you can help change the laws!
