And now, from Rio de Janieiro comes word from none other than Ronaldo that people should not throw the baby out with the bong water — especially in light of the recent travails of the Olympic champion swimmer Michael Phelps.

Speaking to reporters in Brazil, Ronaldo, who had his own publicity nightmare last year when he reportedly became ensnared in a drug and sex scandal with transvestites, said that Phelps deserved some privacy.
