Psychic's business booming

psychics are like gods they are only real when you have faith.

no one can see the future. you make your own future. if someone gives you a prediction and it happens, then you did it. fortunes are croc. well i kinda like the ones in the cookies. :)

I agree that most psychics are a croc, but I have had many premonitions that have come true. I have answered the phone knowing who was calling me (no I didn't look at the caller ID). I have had too many coincidences to simply just write them off as such.

I cannot completely dismiss psychic abilities, if they didn't exist, why would governments in this world spend millions of dollars on research, and why would police departments use them in investigations?

When times are bad people look everywhere for help, church attendance is up along with tarot readings horoscope analysis and psychic advice. Most people are just told what they already know, and I guess it just sounds better coming from someone else. Or they are told to believe in some magical entity that might help them if they follow some rules laid down a long time ago.

Most people are dependent on someone, or something else, for answers. What they don't realize is they already have the answer, somewhere inside. All they have to do is find it.

Psychics are full of crap. Interestingly enough I've had many family members and friends who have claimed some level of psychic ability. But a recent experience cinched the BS factor for me:
I had an art show in Brooklyn. A friend of the family came, who has been a practicing psychic for about a decade- she has a business doing readings for people and things like that. Anyway, she looked at my art, told me how it "spoke to her" and gave me a bit of a reading right there on the spot regarding my art.
The art stayed on showcase for about a week before we were told to retrieve it. When I went to pick it up, one of my pieces had been stolen right out of the gallery. I've never seen it again!
You're fucking telling me of all of the things this woman claimed to have "seen", she couldn't have given me the heads up that one of my paintings would be stolen? I mean, what the hell good are psychic abilities if you can't "see" something like that?

Penn and Teller did a great Bullshit on all of this nonsense that is definitely worth checking out.

If you spend time alone with Rush L, Barak O, A. Greenspan, you could get the same answer. But it would cost you a whole lot more than 135!

as a person who considers himself spiritually oriented...these methods used to make money are not suprising...the thing is the most irritating things about these charlatans is that they don't inform you of your own power...they just want to guide you...like a child....the truth of the matter is that we all posses abilities that are still "asleep"....think about it do you think that they are any different from you?If not then start expanding..........

These statistics just show how ridiculous physic mediums are - their use shoots up when there is a global economic crisis.

Really? Is this a legitimate prediction? How much did they pay her for THAT one? Because I can predict that without an office or any sort of higher mental capacity and you don't see me profitting from the obvious!

So my response to that prediction is, "Ya think?!"

How do you disempower a corrupt system? By empowering yourself.

How do you awaken a sleeping population? By awakening yourself.

How do you heal a toxic society? By healing yourself.

Psychics are crocs that get money from those that are gullible enough to think that someone knows something that no one knows.

I have never used one and I don't see the draw. If they were so smart they would be richer and they wouldn't be asking for so much money to give a future that they cannot guarantee.

Psychics are spiritual counselors who may or may not be genuine. Ultimately we all must choose our own destiny.
