Ongoing Insurgencies which have been 'crushed' repeatedly but manage to come back
The list Includes:
Euskadi Ta Askatasuna (ETA), Country: Spain,
Began: 1959
Sendero Luminoso (The Shining Path), Country: Peru
Began: 1980
The North Caucasus Insurgency, Country: Russia
Began: 1991
Tuareg Rebels, Country: Mali and Niger
Began: 1961
Tamil Tigers, Country: Sri Lanka
Began: 1975
Maybe they keep coming back because instead of solving the underlying social and economic (thats usually the case) problems, governments try to KILL everyone in these organisations. I fail to understand why administrators do not understand that these insurgencies are based on a philosophy, an idea of how things should be. How can you kill an idea with a bullet?
