Obama Admin promises economic stimulus towards creation of green jobs

stopnoise
Are we going to use the same old ideas to resolve an old problem?
Are we Americans are going to continue to support the same wrong business that brought and it is bringing this Country down as;

1. Polluted Public Transportation
2. Polluted After Market Business
3. The War that cost us Trillions
4. The wrong system of economic Debt
5. The wrong system of Education that it is based on debt
6. The wrong system of Health Care that it is based on debt
7. The cost of operating business as usual

These are some of the simple questions in regards to this economic stimulus plan.
It is the poor being fooled again? What do you think?

    • The stimulus is good.

They will need to spend more money for this (my wish list):

      national health insurance

      clean public transportation

      increased student aid

      student loan relief

      K-12 at risk youth support

    • This is what the "stimulus package" will do.

      a. It invests money into infrastructure(some of it green)

      b. Recently unemployed workers using Cobra will have up to 60% of their benefits paid for.

      c. College students, married couples and individuals will receive tax breaks.

      d. There will be a temporary increase in a persons check by $13.

      e. There will be a pay cap for CEOs whose companies have received significant amounts of money from the Federal Government. This will include bonuses.

      f. Will help homeowners fend off foreclosure.

      g. Stimulus checks will also be sent out by the government.

You can figure out how much money you'll get from the tax rebate at the following MSNBC link...

Hope the info is helpful! and as you can tell I'm for the stimulus.
