What a great idea! Shouldn't this be mandatory!?

Technology has never been a problem. With the proper investment and research, we could very easily lessen our dependance on petro significantly within 10 years. The problem is that we still have people lobbying the converse. Still, I am glad to see some people trying energy alternatives in a significant fashion. Ha, and I'm sure it doesn't hurt their PR as well...

That's a great idea. Times Square is actually a pretty breezy place most of the time, especially on a street corner. I hope these vertical wind power systems will generate some buzz since they could be installed cost effectively on many buildings.
