    • Imagine for a moment everyone that you worked for a company like Pepsi just to pick one out of a hat. You’re a single mother and you have to travel and be seen. As a condition your children have to be seen as well. If it weren't for your job, none of these expenses would have to take place. Yes... unequivocally and absolutely Pepsi should pay for both travel an expenses.

      I don’t like Ms. Palin any more than the rest of you, but this is just stupid. All of you act as though you have never charged anything to an expense account before. The article says she is going to pay her taxes. What else do you all want?

      My advice....Go find some real news!!!

    • Gee I thought I was the only one got that part, thank you SaltyPilgrim! She's 'maybe supposed to owe' and only if they count using her expenditures because she used her own house as housing .... in other words if you don't use your expenditures for housing else where you have to pay taxes on it or give it back? This was news last year!

    • MSMBC misleading on purpose - or just amateur reporting? Headline says Palin owes 18,000 in back taxes. Body of story contradicts pointing out that !8,000 credited for housing of her family while away from the capital is under investigation. Still or new investigation? This was reported by other media last fall!

    • I personally would like to see more women in positions of power world wide. The last 4,000 years of testostorone rule have left the world in shoddy shape. I would like any would be leader, male or female, to demonstrate a higher level of inteligence than Palin displayed.

      Should a woman take the same vitamins as a man? No so buy this f-ing version of centrum for women because women are so f-ing different.

      or....

      Should a woman use the same razor as a man to shave? No so buy some woman's razors. Even if its just a razor blade with pink plastic wrapping, but thats exactly what women need.

      I hate to make some girls cry but when feminism was all the rage, the companies were already trying to figure how to convert that in $$$$. Probably why I enjoy the "target women" segment on current. If anything it at least points that crap out.

      The same applies to politics.

      Will a woman be a less corrupt, vile, and possibly sex hungry as a man?
      Will she steal, take kickbacks, support companies who destroy the natural habitat of her constituents, vote whatever way to keep her place. Will she use double speak, will she talk like a rural person when in the country, will she play whatever role she needs to get re-elected?

    • Seriously? Although I think this is awesome, enough already. Everyone knows that Palins a snarky fucking idiot. Now it just looks like were out to get her. Just like Paris Hilton we're making her more important than she really is. We should be thanking her for helping to drive people away from the republican party... whatever that is these days.

    • This is only because the rules changed last year. No foul here folks. Nice try though. But just so you know our new Attorney General has been found not paying taxes. Everyone but the new Administration is supposed to pay taxes. This is a great way to start off the new Presidency. What a shame...
