Security officials in Pakistan say around two dozen people have been arrested by police over the deadly ambush on the Sri Lankan cricket team.
Six police and two civilians were killed in the attack when up to a dozen attackers men armed with grenades, a rocket launcher and automatic weapons unleashed hell on the Sri Lankan team bus as it travelled to a match against Pakistan.
Police chief Haji Habibur Rehman gave few details about the detained suspects but indicated none of those detained were among the gunmen.
Pakistan's offered a £18,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest of any of the gunmen.
