Right now, the Environmental Protection Agency is considering reversing a Bush administration decision that has prevented California and other states from taking action to reduce global warming pollution from cars.

    • Thanks for posting Stopnoise!

      This is a good documentary to watch if you haven't already seen it....

      From their web site:
      "It was among the fastest, most efficient production cars ever built. It ran on electricity, produced no emissions and catapulted American technology to the forefront of the automotive industry. The lucky few who drove it never wanted to give it up. So why did General Motors crush its fleet of EV-1 electric vehicles in the Arizona desert?
      Who Killed the Electric Car? chronicles the life and mysterious death of the EV-1; examining the cultural and economic ripple effects caused by its conception and how they reverberated through the halls of government and big business.
      CONSENSUS OF REVIEWS
      A searing indictment of big business and greed, Who Killed The Electric Car? is a well-tuned doc that simultaneously entertains and enrages.

    • "Can they figure out by themselves and do the work they are suppose to do? "

      It's called a public comment period, they probably have made up their minds already. Regardless of what the public thinks.

      Sent a message btw.

    • I cannot believe I have to send the EPA a message. Can they figure out by themselves and do the work they are suppose to do? Anyway, I did signed and sent my personal message that goes like this;

      "The Federal, State and Local Governments are getting out of a mistake that is gas toxic fumes to fall into another mistake that it is noise. If the people want to call themselves green and act ethically, they must do a complete job that doesn't seems like a half way job, it must include in the abatement, noise and toxic fossil fuel gas."
