Aziz, Ali Get 15 Years in Prison

An Iraqi court has sentenced Saddam Hussein's former foreign minister, Tariq Aziz, to 15 years in prison. It's the first conviction for the man who for years was the former regime's public face to the West.

    • I would rather see America's puppets in Iraq get the 15 years. Tariq Aziz may be the only one left from the Sadaam era who could bring peace and stability back to Iraq. Certainly this puppet now occupying the chair seems to be helpless or he caint get the nation behind him to stop the violence and the suicide bombs. During WWII it took America just 90 days to produce an officer and thirty to ninety days to produce a trained soldier and Bush has spent billions and years and still doewsnt have a standing Iraqi army. Why? I think that the American government or is it the pentagon who does not intend to leave Iraq at all. American presence will still give the thinkers time to worm their way into a conflict with Eurasia. We are losing in Afghanistan and I personally believe we have lost in Iraq and th USA cannot continue to spend this kind of money for a hopeless war. Making froiends with the Taliban would be a mistake because they think nothing of just killing in cold blood. We armed them once and now they are using the same weapons to kill our troops. When will the insane madness stop and civility take over? If the American people would realize just what is planned for the future and the wars that are coming I just wonder what they would say. Obama wants a force of 500,000 troops? Why?
