The whole lot of news reporters are nothing but trouble. They all compete to get a better story coverage, causing some to get too close to the scene. Shouldn't news reporter be barred from the scene until appropriate?

Were the police about to move a body and he was just at the wrong angle. Explanations could have been more forth coming from the officer as to why and where he wanted the cameraman to move to. The guy was kind of goading the officer and there is no telling what was said after audio was lost. But i think this situation would have never happened if the officer had kept his cool and explained things better. Didn't look like there was any time crunch on the scene.

Don't plead guilty. Tell the court that the very human officer was in the wrong and strand by it.

I'd be interested to read the complaint report.
The reporter may have been being a smartass, but this cop was a complete asshole and completely unprofessional.
The words, "because I said so" followed by "don't tell me how to talk to you, do you want to go to jail?" should never be coming out of an officer's mouth.
That alone is grounds to say that this guy shouldn't be wielding any power greater than a mop handle (no offense meant to the honest hard-working janitors).
Also, the reporter appears to have been shooting in the parking lot where other cars are driving through, which is not part of anything that could be called a secured crime scene.

He was charged with failure to identify, but later was charged with interfering with public duties - a misdemeanor. All this was available if you would have clicked on the little green link to the full story. If you have any questions please feel free to..?

Did everyone fail to notice that after being arrested for "being too close to the scene" he is walked directly "through the scene" after being handcuffed.
That there just shows how bogus a concern the "perimeter" was...

Please, this guy was being smart with the cop, and shouldn't have been that close to the scene in the first place if they were still securing the incident.
