The Rain
Abu Bin Adam was a young child in Multan Pakistan, it was Friday the month of March in 1977, the heavenly light told Abu,“ the first rain on the Vernal Equinox will be the rain of Holy water and drinking of that water will purify the human body . The city of Cure was burning with heat and dust from the Sun rays until noon then God (Rab) started the gusty wind and within few hours rain of holy water was pouring down from the skies . The smell of dust was giving taste of heaven and I prayed to my God and said (Subhan na rabi al ahla) Jame Alome (Drink of Knowledge) was pouring down from the skies which I collected in a small bucket and drank . It is the rain that started life on earth millions of years ago on the dry land . It is the day when gravity hit the earth and movement of time and the round holy dance of nature started for the garden of Adam. Ritual of SADQA “donation” ( Giving to Poor and throwing food for ocean life, Birds and animals and planting seeds and flowers started many years ago in Human Faith of Mehdi .
Blessing on humanity (Rabi) from Mehdi and Adam the father and the son with Holy Spirit!
It is true that the phenomena of life is stuck in the pressure of gravity which is losing pressure due to temperature change .The phenomena of gravity is distributing equal weight on ocean waters and mass of gases surrounding a shallow body of cultivating system of nature. It is the pressure that divide water and gases equally that makes the shape of earth looks round and colorful. The knots of mountains are holding our piece of solid mineral deposits can reshape it self due to pressure change. It is just matter of time when new island will emerge from water and old go under. The root cause that is affecting mother nature and reproduction system of earth worm and bacteria is humanity was never enforced by selfish ancient and modern civilizations . The personal propriety that we bring on this earth is the nature and the root of that nature is humanity .The human faith pro life agenda for all creatures is humanity. The painful condition that is destroying cultivating system is not understanding connection that the basic human knowledge starts with nature. The fusion reactor of the sun has the same system of reproducing energy the way we do on earth the only difference is this earth is losing natural resources too fast due to ignorant modern merchants of life . Human faith is Mehdi’s and Adam’s monotheistic faith and knows that God is the creator and overseer of the universe at all the time and all matters. It is time to modernize our faith by adopting true faith and educate mankind in accordance with basic principle of life. Our vision is to introduce true human religion by mobilizing communities and faiths around the world to improve people’s lives .Our mission is to strength the bond of humanity (Rabi) by introducing human faith religion.
IN GOD (Rab) WE TRUST WE HAVE FAITH IN HUMANITY (Rabi).
Rabi has many meaning in our language.
1. Rabi is Book of Human Faith.
2. Rabi is brain.
3. Rabi is humanity.
4. Rabi is our tongue. - 3 years ago

I don't see Tom Brockaw bringing anything new to the subject.
I think it's great he's finally caught up with the rest of the world, but I doubt he'll bring anything interesting to the table that would make me want to watch his special.
But if he manages to enlighten a few more people at the end of the hour that weren't on board prior....good!

What is Tom Brokaw's carbon footprint? Does his house run on alternate energy? How did he travel to do this program? Should we put him and other journalists under the same scrutiny they put those who are deemed pariahs by this media he works for?

JanforGore:
Brokaw is correct in his somewhat subtle articulation that it’s not enough to complain about how others aren’t doing enough for the environment. We all contribute to global warming everyday, and we’ve got to be the change we want to see!

That doesn't answer my question. His attempt to discredit Al Gore's plan on Meet The Press, especially since he thinks that only impedes that very progress.

JanforGore:
I say, lead by example and the others will follow. I'll get my "House" in order that's all I can do. If we spend any energy pointing the finger or investigating others, that loss of energy is far worse than wasting environmental energy.
I use the same formula when people say there's no way the world can ever have peace. How do you expect there to be peace in the world?
I say ask me that once you yourself have peace. A person who has found peace, that question wouldn't even arise.
My 2cents.
Peace.

We could go round and round about who's carbon footprint is larger, Mr' Gore's huge mansion that uses 20 times the average electricity or Mr. Brokaw's traveling footprint. They are both trying to help and these carbon footprints may be a necessary evil to promote their agendas.
And as far as "towing the corporate line" that's where a good portion of attention is needed, if the corporations are involved the more the better, as long as they live up to their words.

JanforGore:
Actually, Mr. Gore's house/office doesn't use "twenty" times the average home and even if it does, if it is all produced by geothermal and solar then it is clean energy. In the end however, yes, it would "appear" they are both trying to help, which then only makes my point about his interview which was far from helping the cause. That was the point I was making, and the question about his carbon footprint was actually meant to be cheeky considering that is all we hear the other way around. As far as towing the corporate line, that line was stumping for their cause in doing all that was necessary to discredit those who are trying to help. The same corporate line that supports "clean coal." I don't think that is very helpful to this cause either.

I have never seen the interview so I can't argue that point. I could do some Google searches on it, but as I posted a few months ago the amount of energy used in one Google search is equivalent to brewing three cups of coffee, and to me that's not worth it for the sake of argument.
So, peace Jan!

After he trashed Al Gore on Meet The Press last July? No thanks. I wonder what corporate interests represent him in doing this program? In assessing the response to Mr. Gore's challenge regarding getting 100% of our electricity from renewable sources in a decade I can honestly state that I am ashamed of the media in America and the same people who always use political rancor to personally tear down those whom they obviously envy as opposed to discussing ways this bold challenge can be met.
I respected Mr. Brokaw, especially after watching the two hour special on global warming he narrated previously. I thought for sure that the entire hour interviewing Mr. Gore after his bold announcement would then be spent discussing the ways this challenge could seriously be met and that at the very least Mr. Brokaw of all people would refrain from the usual political and personal questions we have heard ad nauseum, but I was wrong.
For once again we were subjected to the same corporate inquisition of Mr. Gore's electric bill, (even though he gets his electricity from renewable resources which I don't think Mr. Brokaw does) words he stated years ago as opposed to discussing the here and now, and Mr. Brokaw's incessant attempts to paint Mr. Gore as some sort of climate swindler, even reading comments that trashed his plan on air to him as well as questioning his sincerity about this and even trying to make him look partisan. And now he does a program about this? Looks to me as though he and others are not really concerned about the effects of climate change, but only looking to vie for ratings. His interview sure proved that the environment was not paramount to him.
Tom Brokaw like the rest of the American media should be ashamed for towing the corporate line, but I suppose with success that comes with the territory. I am still waiting for the day when Mr. Gore will be doing one of these interviews and one of these questions comes up again and he simply stands up, takes off his microphone, and walks off the stage. In my view it is exactly what Tom Brokaw deserved.

You just know there will be some republicans denying any sort of climate change.....However this is disputed,...they can not deny the fact that we are living in a poisoned world.
the air we breath is poisoned, the food we eat is poisoned, and water is poisoned.
we are born w/ just under 300 different toxic chemicals in our bodies(including chemicals like DDT that have been banned for over 30 years).
for those that deny any sort of warming or climate change,...good! great! be a ignoramus....But, They cannot deny the poison and pollution that exists and is causing multiple problems in every ecosystem on the planet. - 3 years ago
