    • Barcelona will go through Richjm I'm sorry to disappoint you.

I'd like an outside bet on an Arsenal v Barcelona final with a win for Arsenal.

    • Here's my predictions and I've never been wrong before:

-Villarreal v Arsenal (Arsenal to win)
-Manchester United v Porto (Man Utd to win)
-Liverpool v Chelsea (Chelsea to win in extra time)
-Barcelona v Bayern Munich (Bayern Munich to win)

If I owned a house, I'd bet it on those results.

Never? C'mon. You haven't been wrong ever?

But I like your predictions. :-)

Just to be different I'm going to say LIverpool will win. Especially after that win against ManU

      Und... LOS FC Bayern!!

Bayern over Barca? You're crazy. Bayern got lucky to get Sporting, but their luck has run out here. They are crappy in the Bundesliga, and they'll show they are no longer a power here too. Barca has the talent, the depth, and the class to go all the way.
I'll see your house and raise you a car.

Woohoo! Cheers for the update smurph!

I'm shocked and, frankly, thrilled. I'm rubbish at football, I know next to nothing about it, and I only picked Bayern Munich because my auntie lives there so I'm not too fussed about not getting that one right.

Saying that, I once enjoyed a lovely holiday in Barcelona. If I'd remembered that and gone with them for the win instead, you'll all be dead impressed now. Drats!

    • As a lifelong Liverpool fan, I think this is our toughest possible draw. Chelsea are def on the up, and it will be a real clash of 'thinking' managers. Wish we'd drawn ManU, then stuffed them again!

I'm also a liverpool fan and I really didn't want any of the English teams. Not because I don't think we could beat them, after beating united so brilliantly none of them pose a threat, but cause it's the 20th anniversary of Hillsborough. Imagine the minutes silence at Old Trafford they would be so disrespectful and I doubt the crowds will be completely silent in London either, though I hope they prove me wrong.

    • Its a shame Barcelona v Bayern Munich have been draw together as they are the only two realistic foreign threats to the British teams and now one of them is going to go out. As much as I like UK football this tournament is feeling less and less European. It should be knock out right from the start, the qualifying tables make it to easy for the rich clubs.

Bring back the old European Cup

    • Liverpool Chelsea again, it's becoming a predicable date in the Champions League calender, doesn't always produce a great game.

English teams were lucky not to meet Barca at this stage, the only team left in that could pose any of the Premier League teams problems. But judging by Liverpool embarrassment of Real in the last round i doubt they will be quaking ...

Looks like three out of four teams in the semi's will be English again. Just why are they so dominant?

    • Liverpool vs Chelsea. Ha ha, as a fan of neither club I think it's hilarious this tie has been thrown up yet again.

Fans might see this as a running joke by now though, and be bored with the pre-match hype. Although they tend to be quite eventful occasions for the neutral.

      (Liverpool FTW!)

    • Beyond a joke now, how many times are Chelski and Liverpool going to be drawn together? Boring. I see Arsenal and Utd got to choose their ideal draw though, that was nice of UEFA.
