Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva has harshly criticised the globe's top economies, blaming them for sparking the financial crisis.
Standing next to British prime Minister Gordon Brown at a news conference in Brasilia, Silva again pointed a finger, saying the financial crisis was caused by "white people with blue eyes" - and that the world's poorest nations should not have to pay for a crisis they did not create.
Should emerging nations such as his have more say in how global economic policy is sorted out?

This is hardly anything new, I'm just suprised someone has actually vocalised it. But what's with the blue eyes bit? White people with brown eyes caused the crisis too!
