A Spanish court has agreed to consider opening a criminal case against six former Bush administration officials, including former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, over allegations they gave legal cover for torture at Guantanamo Bay, a lawyer in the case said Saturday.

The ex-Bush officials are Gonzales; former undersecretary of defense for policy Douglas Feith; former Vice President Dick Cheney's chief of staff David Addington; Justice Department officials John Yoo and Jay S. Bybee; and Pentagon lawyer William Haynes.

    • A SPANISH court? What a bunch of morons! If ya want to see 'em all hang, it has to be done in an American court! I think the Spaniards are doing this as a way to say "Hey, Look at us! We still matter!" Nope, I don't think so....nice place to visit, but that's all. What schmucks, those Spaniards!

    • Remember, this is the country that caved to terrorist muslims (sorry for the redundancy) who influenced Spains policy by planting a couple of bombs. They are either caving again or the mooslims are really in charge over there.
Torture in Gitmo. How about Spains court indict the cultists who beheaded Americans.
This does not pass the smell test.
