A new study by a UK university has revealed that in the ten days before their periods begin women are more likely to make extravagant impulse buys.

Psychologists believe that shopping sprees could be a way for premenstrual women to deal with the negative emotions created by their hormonal changes

    • Who works this stuff out!? Is there some creepy guy following women around while they're shopping and asking them if they're on their period when they appear to impulsively buy something!

    • It's a legitimate theory. Hormones, mood swings, whatever. We need something to lift our spirits, and if some women find mindlessly throwing away money on useless crap uplifting.......well ask them after their period when they realize they blew their rent money.

    • Stereotype: Women love to shop.
Stereotype: Women turn in to irrational, moody wrecks during their periods.

Science: These things are related and we proved it!

      WTF?
