A helicopter carrying 14 people and two crew members, was ditched in the North Sea just off Aberdeenshire, killing 10 people and 6 others missing.

BP says that the 'Super Puma AS 33L Mk II' was operating on behalf of the oil company when it is returning from Miller oil field. Emergency services were placed on Standby while NHS Grampian says it had put its major incident plan into action.
