G20 Dinner - £11 a head Bargain!

According to Jamie Oliver if you were to cook the dinner he served at the G20 summit last night it would only cost £11 per head.

What a bargain!

Jamie said on his website "The food was homely and proved that you can serve very humble food in the most opulent of places. I wanted to prove that you really don’t have to spend loads of money to serve a very special meal."

I wonder if he went to sainsburys.

• Vegetarian option is Childwickbury Goat’s Cheese with Roast Shallots, Seashore Vegetables, Herb Green Salad and Wild Garlic-scented Irish Soda Bread (no mayo)

Slow-Roasted Shoulder of Welsh Lamb, very first of the season Jersey Royals, first of the season Asparagus and Wild St George Mushrooms. Mint Sauce and Gravy

• Vegetarian option is Lovage & Potato Dumplings with first of the season Asparagus and Wild St George Mushrooms

Hot Bakewell Tart with Home-made Custard
