The Media is bound to be like that, they're a big part of the capitalist 'machine'. I'm sure the Socialist Worker will present a more accurate/tasteful account.

It's good these guys came out with this video to tell their version of what happened. So often the media grabs hold of a story but doesn't rell the true version of what happens, maybe because its not investigated properly or because they want to turn it into 'their' version of whap happened often exagerated or sensationalised to better sell the story, a lot of it too could be politicians trying to make out that all the demonstrators were violent to show them as just hooligans or thugs, rather then people who have legitamate reasons to demonstrate, reasons the politicians don't want the common public to know about.

The times is the worst report.
"Expert View by Times journalist Adam Fresco.
'They were spat on, hit and had vile abuse screamed at them, but does it give police the right to indiscriminately hit anyone in their way?'
-Adam Fresco, Crime Correspondent"Vile abuse like: shame on you! Vile abuse..like at football matches. I was at the protests. There is more swearing and abuse at a football match..than there was against the police.

There's some amazing photos of the G20 protests by London photographer Jane Stockdale. There's something incredibly fascinating about them being in black and white.

mattbrawn:
I don't know ...
It might just be that I've never been a fan of black and white photography, or the fact that the pictures lose some of the depth and vibrancy of the event.
I just feel that making it black and white sacrifices a bit of the event's passion and gritty authenticity in exchange for an aesthetically pleasing image. Also, it speaks false that the black and white represents moral ambiguity and corruption when there are so many more facets to consider, which could be better represented in colour
Maybe it's me looking too much into and image but that's just how i feel
