We know what history says about an unarmed nation.Seems only the criminals will be armed in Australia. Oh, I forgot the Government will be armed too.
Owners of more than 5,000 firearms previously unknown to NSW police have come forward during the first month of the state government's gun amnesty.
"They were guns that were in the community, not necessarily held by criminals, but by people who had come by the guns and not got around to registering them in the past."
However, Mr Kelly doesn't expect anyone involved in crime to be among those coming forward to surrender or register guns during the three-month amnesty.
"I'd expect none, if any, have come from hardened criminals," he said.
"We don't expect to get sawn-off shotguns or AK-47s handed in.

AYASHE:I agree, you are right. Most who die in gunman attacks are unarmed, That only goes to show more reason why every American should not only be armed but also carry those weapons on their person at all times. If you own a weapon, you should get you CCW permit and exercise your rights under that permit. If you live in a state that does not allow you the right to protect your self you should be calling the people that represent you and ask them what the hell are they waiting for.

It seems like most of the people who die in gunman attacks are unarmed anyway, so it will be the same whether the criminals are the only one with weapons or not.
