Taking a page out of the Obama campaign handbook, the Republicans used the net, text messaging and Twitter to get the word out to their disciples. But their biggest promoter was of course Fox News as always. And the so called "grass-roots" effort is more of an Astroturf affair coming from corporate sponsors, Dick Army and Phil Gram to name a few. The fun part will be to see how the event is covered. The stark contrast between how it is shown on Fox and how it actually turned out should be nothing short of hilarious comedy.

LOL . . . I didn't know that they could get away with that many explicit jokes in just under 3 minutes . . . freaking awesome!

Anyone who went to one of these Fox-sponsored events was simply nuts.

Actually, I attended two of them, and they were just as packed as Fox News made it seem.

That went no where. Every year same thing. They should volunteer that same amount of time they spend on the protests at animal Shelters, Veterans hospitals and nursing homes. Would actually do some good and make a difference.
