What's going on when the right wing starts to police itself? Perhaps the inmates are losing control of the asylum. The first step in solving a problem is defining the problem. The Republicans have some serious defining to do. One of their biggest issues is they are trapped in a cage of their own design. The desire for ratings, followers and book sales has their most prominent talking heads saying whatever it takes to keep the red meat flowing to the hardcore base. Unfortunately placating the 20 -25 percent base further alienates them from the vast majority making it all but impossible to gain any actual political ground.
