After believing we were headed in the wrong direction for the first time in a long time the majority of Americans believe we are headed in the right direction.

    • Obama is extremely serious about bringing America into the 21st Century.....He is working hard to improve our Economy and our image in the World......

Obama has done more to improve our Country in three months than Bush did in eight years ! After stealing the election, he was too dumb to run the Country............All of the wrong doings of the Bush Administration are begining to surface and I can't wait to find out what happened to all of the billions that are missing.

    • Way, WAY too early to be drawing any firm conclusions, in my opinion. So far, the things he has done that I like outnumber the things he has done that I dislike by a factor of about 2:1. But he only had time to do about a dozen things of any significance. And quite frankly, out of the many, many failings of the Bush Administration, its disdain for the Bill of Rights was the failing that concerned me the most. Unfortunately, that is also the area in which Obama has stumbled the most thus far.

But just not having to be ashamed and embarassed every time our President opened his mouth because he had such a poor grasp of his own native language and was so obviously narrow-minded is SUCH a relief!!!

    • I would have to say the right direction. I would also have to say, with a long way to go. Let's hope he doesn't choose to land on a carrier yet. This man has more respect for our troops than that though.

I hate to say it, but as much BS as Iraq is...we're actually turning things around there..which is now largely ignored by the media And a free and stable Iraq, means more oil for us...which is also good. As much as people don't want to admit it, we are very much still addicted to oil, and the true cost-effectiveness of alternate technologies are still years off. Don't like my philosophy? Try paying $10.00 for a gallon of gas (they do it in england), or not being able to find any at all, and having lights turn off.

    • As soon as Obama got into the oval office he rolled up his sleeves and began making the changes and providing new ideas this country needs. He is not letting the cynics and Republican opposition slow him down. Americans as well as foreigners are seeing the promise in this gallant young President and that's why his ratings are high.

    • Well he does have an easy act to follow. Youd have to be a god awful president to have worse ratings than Bush. In Obamas defense though he is making a lot of progressive reforms so hes definitely got my approval.
