Pirate Bay judge is member of Copyright Association!

Talk about a conflict of interest. I'm sure the judge had no bias (eye roll). I don't care what side of the issue you fall on, everyone deserves a fair trial.

    • Have you walked into any of the lower courts across the lands?

      Query whether any "children" have been harmed by "the best interest of children."

      Then query whether NCSEA and related daughter organizations have any influence with "judges" of our local courts. Good grief, conflict of interests by simple gimmicks to best interests.

      As near as I can tell, its a free for all.

      Rule of law(s),
      Rude du-claws
      Rue of flaws,
      Room to bawl.

      I guess its hard to stop what we practice, sponsor and facilitate on regular basis in our "local chapters" of/for/to "law."

    • Sweden - That is where the trial was conducted. In Sweden they have "eldermen" to sit at the bar. They have more than one judge. Sometimes 3-5 depending on the type of trial. Judges then vote individually and the leading judge has tie breaker. It's a horrid system but it works for them. (Or not as in this case) Mom' is from Sweden thats why I know so damn much lol.

    • I have used this site one or twice and really have no problem with it. Sure they are violating copyright and other laws like this, but hey it's free and they are paying for the site.

    • Legally the judge is obliged to declare an interest......that will automatically bar him from presiding over (or even participating in) the case.

      That is the law as practiced in Great Britain and in the Republic of Ireland.
