Was arrested at the Caochlella Music & Arts Festival which was held on the Empire Polo fields on suspicion of being drunken and disorderly in public.
Felch refused to put on his clothes and the overweight police officers wrestled him to the ground, kneed him to the chest and tased him profusely.

"and you libertarians trust state gov more why?"
Great question! First I would like to state that libertarians, like democrats and republicans, come from a wide range of backgrounds and many liberty fighters endorse many different ideas on state governments. The Federal government is a monopoly, you cannot move to a different state and get away from a bad policy unlike under the 10th amendment. I still have a great amount of trouble with state governments as well but at least the 10th amendment created competition in between the states, the Federal monopoly is a much bigger monster that must be tamed first.

I can't believe some of the comments here, tazers are to be used as alt to guns when cops are in danger, not as cattle prods, ,this man did not deserve to be tazered.Scum.
And watch that dumb cop hold it up to his body to pump more volts in.
In a real open and free society there should have been a riot.

This whole thing was pretty hilarious to watch. What a circus. Honestly, the police were being pretty civil and willing to put up with that guy's idea of "beautiful" for quite a bit. But, just because you're at some music festival, doesn't mean that you're free to throw decency out the window. There are laws against this type of behavior, and you're not exempt from them just because you're some hippy being riled and supported by a crowd of group-thinkers.

Oh yeah I was arrested they used the store video tape as evidence along with 6 witnesses. I did it publicly to humiliate the worthless drunk, but in a corrupt county there is nothing that money can't make go away. Beside his capt. is at my family's gunshop all the time. We repair guns for the FBI, SBI, ATFE, SWAT. They would hate for that 6 month waiting list to turn into a year. I continued my membership at that dojo, until I moved. My instructor was the head instructor of hand to hand for my states prison system. He had done the same thing to an inmate who aggressively put his finger in his face, so what could he say. He used the same energy shoving that finger at me as if throwing a punch and I treated it as such. I have continued to practice in my new city and will continue to practice. :-p I am always sensi's favorite uke.

This is bullshit. If you touch a cop, or a ranger, who is a cop, you go to jail. Period. If you are a real Aikidoka, you won't touch someone until they attack you. Too many Steven Seagal movies bud. If you are actually a real member of a Dojo, your Sensei will throw you out for putting someone down just for pointing a finger at you.

A taser is not an obedience training device, it is a lethal weapon. If these cops had been properly train they would not need to use a lethal weapon on a nonviolent offender. Cops are one of the laziest members of our society. Learning proper control techniques takes more patience, dedication and sense than pulling a trigger, and is highly more effective without being lethal.
I once talked with a man who had just got out of prison, he was bragging about being tasered. So I asked him if I can show him something, the second we made contact he dropped to the ground screaming his arm was broken. I could have continued into more painful control techniques, but that was unnecessary. When I released my light pressure he was shocked that his arm was perfectly fine, after being so sure that it was severely broken. I explained that it was all in his head. I had applied a small amount of energy directly into the ulna nerve which sent a signal down the nerve into the brain that was interpreted as "MY ARM IS BROKE IN HALF". He then informed me that he would rather be tasered 1000 times than have me lay my hands on him again.
From any contact position the nikyo or kotegaeshi is possible if they were properly trained.
I have gotten in one altercation with an off duty cop over my dog getting caught in illegal steel trap he placed in the state park behind one of my houses. He told me he was the law and would do what he fucking pleased. That was the same thing that his drinking buddy the Park Ranger told me earlier that day. When he stuck his arm out to point at me, it didn't take 1 second for me to drop him to the floor screaming in pain, until he apologized.
I was not concerned about making enemies because I had already decided a week earlier to move when his other drinking buddy flipped his SUV 120ft down one of my fences, coming back from a beer run.

You are born with no clothes, everyone knows what the male and female anatomy looks likes, why is it such a big problem when someone is walking around naked.
If something repulses you simply turn and look the other way and walk away from.
NO ONE! and I repeat NO ONE! has the right to use force on anyone unless that person is going to harm or threaten someones life, only then is force justified.

I could almost comprehend if not agree with the fundamentalist nudism, but no law enforcement for less than capital crimes just awes me. Rape is legal on your planet I guess? You really need to think harder about these statements.

I live by these basic rules. If I am not an asshole to the cops, I generally won't get beat down and tazered by said cops. If I do what they say, when they say it, I generally won't get beat down by the cops. If I get all fucked up and can't/won't listen to what they say, I will probably get beat down or tazered by the cops. It's really not very complicated.
What should they have done? Give him another hit of acid, or another joint or drink? Let him wander around until he fell off some bleachers or grandstands or whatever, and then get sued for NOT PROTECTING HIM? People are idiots. Apparently, Mr. Eagle Scout can't handle his liquor or drugs. And I live in San Luis Obispo. I see these freaks every day.

The Naked Wizard is my hero.
Observe how totally incompetent those police are. Even having tasered him multiple times gratuitously, it took three fat cops several minutes to put a naked, nonviolent weirdo under arrest.
It's hard not to look forward to the day when indignant crowds such as these begin rushing cops who exert excessive force and authority.

If the man had put on his clothes, the police would've left him alone.
If the man had allowed himself to be cuffed, the police wouldn't have had to tase him.
If the man had rolled onto his front after the first round with the taser, he wouldn't have needed a couple more to get him to.
If the man had put his arms behind him, the police officers wouldn't have needed to do it for him.
I'm trying to see where the citizen was in the right and the officers were in the wrong here.

The citizen wasn't harming anyone. Nobody cared except for the cops, who can't have their authoritarian status questioned. There was no reason he should have submitted willingly to the cops. They were the only ones causing a disturbance. They were the only one's harming people. Nobody required or wanted their "service".

It's not just that force is justified by harm or not, police are there to maintain the peace. And I'm pretty sure that the idea of a naked man around is not in a picture perfect thought of a peaceful evening. The police have a job to do, let alone a reputation to uphold. If they were to "go soft" on this individual, more and more people would try to test their boundary with the law.

Outstanding video. Those three statements are the cornerstones of protecting your rights.
If you are stopped or questioned by the Police, you should know and be able to recite the following.
Officer, I mean no disrespect, but I understand my rights. I have the right to have an attourney present during questioning. I have a right to refuse to consent to any search of my body and personal effects. I wish to exercise all my rights. If I am under arrest, I wish to invoke and exercise my Miranda rights and be allowed the opportunity to obtain advice from my attorney. If I am taken into custody I request a reasonable opportunity to make arrangements to secure my own property. If I am not under arrest, I want to leave. If I am free to leave, please tell me immediately so I may go about my business.

I am getting the impression that Mr Wizard is one of those people who like to run around naked because they think it's somehow artistic.
For those of you who agree I would like to point out that someone managed to dig up his myspace page, and this is the guy. I for one do not want to see that naked. Especially somewhere that food is being served.

It's simple, resist arrest; get tazed. The officers were more than fair and provided "The Wizard" with ample opportunity to put his clothes back on. Only after prolonged resistance did the officer employ the tazer. Typical punk kids booing the police for enforcing the law. Pick your battles, there are plenty of cases of actual misconduct by law enforcement. this is certainly not one of those cases. Every time a police officer uses a tazer, the whining of the liberal masses is deafening. Public intoxication and indecent exposure are illegal. Here's an idea, STOP BREAKING THE LAW ASSHOLE! If you disagree with the law, do something productive to change it.
