The govt. "warns" us that our pot is stronger than anything Jerry Garcia ever smoked in his heyday. What do they expect?

    • That pic is worth a thousand words. Smoking better weed means it takes less to get high. (So I hear.) :} So it gives the munchies sooner? So some slack off more? Who are these people killing. The last time I checked meth keeps you up for days and the labs blow up.

    • Two things... first of all, can't a person go to a liquor store and get alcohol ranging from about 3% to as high as 90%? Differing cannabis potency is equivalent to having a beer or a shot of whiskey... it's up to the person to moderate their intake.

Secondly, isn't there an FDA approved medication on the market that is 100% synthetic THC?

Seems using the "higher" potency scare tactic is just foolishness.

I could extract all the essential oils from and entire pound of cannabis buds, giving me super concentrated hash oil somewhere around 80-90%THC. I could then consume all that oil in one setting, and you know what? I wouldn't die! I might be completely stoned and maybe a bit sick for the next day or so, but it wouldn't be life threatening.

You CAN'T say that about alcohol.

    • Apparently our forefathers understood the benefits of cannabis hemp. Here is a few of their thoughts about cannabis hemp (sweet hemp):

"Two of my favorite things are sitting on my front porch smoking a pipe of sweet hemp, and playing my Hohner harmonica." - Abraham Lincoln (from a letter written by Lincoln during his presidency to the head of the Hohner Harmonica Company in Germany)

"Hemp is of first necessity to the wealth & protection of the country."
      - Thomas Jefferson, U.S. President

"Make the most you can of the Indian Hemp seed and sow it everywhere."
      - George Washington, U.S. President

"We shall, by and by, want a world of hemp more for our own consumption."
      - John Adams, U.S. President

Media spins, we know they do. I would take the words of Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington and John Adams, over spinners any day of the week. Spinning more potency is spinning fear, trying to silence the discussion.

    • It has little, new flowering heads the very top still has the new flowers trying to produce reproductive stamens - the thing has had it's light cycle reduced to about 8 or six hours forcing the immature plant into flowering.

It's a grow operation that goes for three harvests a year.

The purple is a natural inclination of ruderalis - which is a thick headed, hardy variety that is used to a northernly short growing season. It comes from a stressful environment and the variety has had early stress as the definer. - Here, utter stress is artificially created in the forced early cycle.

That bud would be a very small part of a huge top, maybe a foot and half long. Five or six inches wide.
Branched properly, there could be 60 or 80 of them.

Ruderalis is a generally small plant. But pot can grow to 20 feet. Monstrous.
It's one of the most beautiful things that grows. But I guess everything is so - when you get back and look.

    • I take it then this is a picture of a real plant without any special lighting or special effects? Am I correct? Not being a grower I don't know. I hope someone will answer. 02 seems to be able to recognize it. How about it 02 is this a real picture as you say and what do you mean by a hard pull?

    • It's very beautiful - that's artificial light grown Ruderalis, under stress.

It's under a hard pull into flowering -

think what that thing would be under natural conditions, 20 feet outside in the fall.
