The active chemical compound in marijuana aggressively targets brain cancer cells, and helps to kill them by encouraging them to dissolve themselves, according to a recent report by Spanish researchers.

    • Let us not forget the other obvious merit of smoking the holy herb.

It helps you to restrain yourself from beating the living crap out of the many assholes in desperate need of a beat down.

    • See what happens when GOPer weenies lose control over that dirty godless anti-US Science?

More damned horribly embarrassing facts leak out from under the old political heel.

Now we all know this study will have to be attacked and trivialized, by wingnuts, who will urge us to ignore the findings.

Using cannabis medically could relieve a lot of patient pain and anxiety? Not important. It must be reduced to a "moral issue" - Cannabis is just BAD! It turns people into democrat\socialist funseekers on weekends! It could really hurt alcohol sales too!

Isn't it odd? Somehow many of the same chorus of nay-sayers let "opiates" escape identical condemnation. Especially helpful it seems were those who love to promote far more addictive and profitable substances.

I'll bet we hear a lot from them from now on.

    • Even if cannabis laws are changed, cannabis will not do away with other medical treatment. But, freeing up cannabis will open the door to research. Cannabis has many possibilities. It's time to find out if a natural substance can replace the need for so many pharmaceuticals, with so many side effects.

For many illnesses today, the treatment has as many side effects as the illness.

Right now, we have the big 'what if'? It's hard to know the truth, because distortion has superseded facts. We need to know the facts. Facts matter.

    • This is one of the positive studies, which will not get covered by 24/7 cable news. They ignore positive studies and instead blindly spin the potency of pot as the most important fact. They recently reported how much more potent cannabis is today, as compared to '83. They were spinning potency increase in '83. It's an "Assault on Reason".

Cannabis hemp is not new. Cannabis hemp has been around for Centuries. Cannabis hemp was around longer before 24/7 cable news. It's time for them to stop spinning distortion and misleading information.

connie, big pharma can't make enough money off of natural medicines. I had a friend who had breast cancer and if she had cannibis for nausea it would have made her feel so much better.

Its hard realizing what they are doing to us with big pharma and the ins. companies. Literally, I wish more people were aware bercause the outrage might spark real change.
