I live in upstate new york. (no...not New York City...the OTHER 98% of NYS's land area), and there are plenty of hicks, working in poorly funded and written up nursing homes and mental health facilities here...only here, we abuse the elderly (as our population is aging - our average age is 45 locally)

omg! i am just sick over this. I work with people living with autism and as a supervisor my number one rule is to treat everyone with respect and kindness. this absolutely breaks my heart that the people who are there to support and assist could be so very inhumane and cruel.

Texas has long been way behind the curve in its treatment of people with mental disabilities.

I have a chid with autism and a pray every day that when he outlives me he will never encounter such primal disgusting people .what is so horrible is what do you do with people now who enjoy entertaining them selves with other peoples pain.Not just any one but people who can not help themselves and are relying on them to feel safe .I don't have words.
