The raw power of the Earth is such an amazing thing to behold up close AND personal!
I was on the Big Island of Hawaii back in March, 2007, and was fortunate enough to convince the helicopter pilot to fly my wife and me over to the volcano to gaze down into it's gaping "hole" of molten lava!
One word ONLY can describe that moment.....AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

Vierotchka, Thank you so much for contributing this great link to 'CURRENT'. It was a beautiful and deeply provocative film. I would like to suggest another great film (2 ,actually) at the site Zeitgeist.com or you could do a search for zeitgeist-the movie. At the site there is also a follow-up or sequel titled "Zeitgeist-Addendum"...both VERY worthwhile. I was so impressed I ordered copies (for a very nominal fee) on DVD that I could share with friends and family. Thank You, Again....
