SEND A BOOK TO GAZA
Free Gaza Movement launches its “Right to Read” Campaign

Education is a right; A right that has been denied to Gaza’s most precious resource, its young people. Free Gaza is committed to breaking this siege. We welcome people of goodwill, such as yourself, to join us in this campaign.
Our campaign invites individuals to join us at a person-to-person level by contributing one or more books to our shipment as an expression of resistance to the blockade. This effort also allows institutions around the world to support Palestinians’ right to education by donating new and used copies of textbooks to be delivered by the Free Gaza Movement to universities in the Gaza Strip.

    • What makes you think its a four year old child doing the killing? Even in Israel they try wait until the children are 18 until sending them to slaughter.
As an adult one takes responsibility a child can never know. Its your job, fake mike, to stop the killing and to stop shifting the blame.
A baby neither made the guns, drove the tanks nor funded the weapons - heres an opportunity to know your history- Who benefits from armed warfare?
      Its not these children.
When arms factories invest the same into peace as they do to killing then your facetious pretentious comments may have some use.

facetious pretensious? your trying way too hard man. I'd love to know that a child was reading a book I donated but in all actuality no one in there right mind would send humanitarian aid to a "Country" that would rather spend it on weapons then educating there "Own" children. If these people weren't hell bent on killing maybe there kids would already have books.

see, for me using big words ain't really that big a try. Lucky we get to read books in peace, ay?
My point is that its not the children doing the killing, what ever country you favour - its the adults, often by force, and its the people pumping them full of armoury.
Its the dogmatic minds that believe people would rather live in fear than love, would rather burn in pain than learn and gain.
Given the choice - would you let your family die, be dragged across the world to some foriegn land where no one understands your mother tongue nor the depth of culture that you are?
This aint anit-semetic - before you jump on that ridiculous sentiment - the sooner we figure out the difference between a soldier and a civilian, a peace keeper and a terrorist, then we can engage in useful dialouge - until then, hope you dont have to face the same predjudice you show others.
      peace

brilliant - I could do with the money - how much you laying down?
reccomend you read the letter before responding to it, it does help.
'ridiculous sentiment' in context describes anti-one- race propoganda.
Why bother? no matter how many good words one expresses, prehaps its the innate nature of some people that will always twist things to find imaginary offense.
please dont reply, this really aint worth the time.

    • How You Can Help
Our campaign invites individuals to join us at a person-to-person level by contributing one or more books to our shipment as an expression of resistance to the blockade. This effort also allows institutions around the world to support Palestinians’ right to education by donating new and used copies of textbooks to be delivered by the Free Gaza Movement to universities in the Gaza Strip.

You can donate funds to purchase books (and/or help offset shipping costs to Cyprus) or you can send new and used books directly for inclusion on an upcoming voyage.

Also, if you are an academic institution or are connected to one and are willing to give Gaza universities access to your e-library, please let us know.

      Sending Funds
Donations for the Right to Read Campaign will be used to purchase books directly and to cover shipping costs for books that are received at Free Gaza sites other than Cyprus. Please designate “Right to Read” in the comment field to ensure that the funds are appropriated to this campaign.

      Sending Books
The Right to Read Campaign accepts all new or used books for shipment. To order books, please refer to either the U.S. compiled wish list or the UK compiled wish list from the universities in Gaza.

You may send the books directly to Cyprus or to the Free Gaza collection site nearest to you:
